Senator Ayade Seeks Qualified Graduates From Cross River For Federal Civil Service Employment

The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Professor Ben Ayade, has called on interested and qualified Cross Riverians with degrees in either, Basic and Applied Science, Engineering or Secretariat Studies to summit their curriculum vitae, CVs for immediate employment into the federal civil service.

Interested applicants who must have graduated since 2008 and must have completed their NYSC are to send the soft copy of their CVs between today and latest Friday July 19, 2013 to employmentchairman@gmail.com. Successful applicants will resume work on August 1, 2013.

In a chat with CrossRiverWatch, the Senator said: “It is part of our constituency obligation to assist our constituents who are qualified and competent to secure spaces for employment. And this is not the first time I will be doing this. I have assisted several of my constituents secure employments in several jobs and this is a continuation of that obligation.

“You and I know that unemployment is a major challenge facing our young people in this country and efforts must be targeted at seeing how graduates who have the capacity to deliver can secure opportunities to contribute their quota to the development of the country. That is what is motivating this decision.”

The Senator also announced that the free distribution of high yield rice seedlings, Faro 44 to farmers in his constituency in Cross River North Senatorial District will commence by July 21, 2013. He encouraged the farmers to turn out in their numbers to benefit from this gesture as that will go a long way in guaranteeing food security in the state.

CrossRiverWatch findings at the Senator’s constituency office in Ogoja reveal that over 3,000 farmers have already registered to benefit from the scheme named “Operation Green Millionaires.”

  • In view of the previous antecedent on job placements and the struggle to get one, many Nigeria graduates have shown a repulsive attitude in pursuit of a job except when there are sure of one or God’s factor played a dominant role in the campaign to get a good job. Senator sir, your effort is highly appreciated, but it will be very bad if it is based on political reasons that will only aimed at reducing the common man to naughty. I wish to suggest, if your good intention is real we will like to see evidence of employment including those from average homes.
