The Director General designate of the Jedy Agba Campaign Organization, Dr. Sandy Onor has said that what is about to happen in the Cross River State political environment will be revolutionary and reminiscent of what a people can do when they are discontented.

The erstwhile Commissioner for Environment who was forced out of the Imoke administration for supporting the governorship ambition of Goddy Jedy Agba against the directive of his former boss, said he is happier on his new found path and was hopeful that God willing the new path will take him and Cross River State to greater heights.

While speaking to CrossRiverWatch in Calabar recently, he said: “We owe it as a responsibility to be loyal to our leaders. I have done that for many years but I cannot allow anyone take away my self worth, my ability to freely make decisions, that is no longer loyalty.

“I have openly decided where I stand as it relates to 2015 and I tell you, what is about to happen in Cross River State will be revolutionary. It will shock the pundits. It could only have been reminiscent of the days of John Okpa is not for the unfortunate incident that happened to him.

“We are building a people’s movement that will be firmly rooted on the ground and poised to alter the status quo. The months ahead will prove what we can do.”

Dr. Onor also raised concerns about the alleged movement of PDP membership registers from the party secretariat along Murtala Mohammed Highway in Calabar to government house.

He said: “If the allegation is correct, the registers could be manipulated to remove names of people who are no longer in the good books of the government or the ruling party. We are concerned about the development and will want to draw the attention of the public to it and warn that we are watching.”
