An unidentified man escaped death yesterday after been subjected to bouts of electric shock at Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH.
The man who was contacted by undisclosed staff resident in the institutions staff quarters to scale the electric pole and effect repairs following the blackout experienced in the past two weeks was hurriedly rescued by residents as he fell from the electric pole after experiencing the shock.
Efforts to get information from the school management regarding the incident proved abortive.
The victim however was rushed to receive medical attention in an undisclosed location by a sympathizer.
