The chairman, Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba has confirmed the purchase of an All Progressives Congress (APC) senate nomination form for him by a political support group.
Ndoma-Egba confirmed this to CrossRiverWatch during a telephone interview on Thursday where he said that he is yet to make up his mind whether to contest or not.
The leader of the seventh Senate said he is currently in PortHarcourt and sources say he is been courteous about his next political moves.
There are insinuations that Mr. Ndoma-Egba will be in pole position to be Senate President if President Muhammadu Buhari wins the 2019 presidential elections.
The former lawmaker is said to hold the record for the highest number of bills passed in the National Assembly including the Freedom of Information Act which was hailed as the most important piece of legislation for journalists in the fourth republic.
