Why I will never go close to nursery section again.
Yesterday, when I went to school, I passed through a Nursery session for a small βAMEBOβ ππππ before going to my classroom (Primary 6). There is this little girl, named Veronica, she is so beautiful and intelligent.
I found her busy, trying to put on her shoes. So I approached her and offered to help her. Honestly, it was such a torrid experience!!ππ
The boots seemed to be smaller thΓ n her size, and it took me five minutes just to help her wear them. When I finally succeeded, I took steps away from her, she called me and said, “Uncle George, you made me wear banana” π€π€π€π€π€
When I looked at her shoes, to my embarrassment, I realized I had misplaced her shoes, the banana style ππππ
Upon trying to take off the shoes again, it took me three minutes. After struggling so much I eventually managed to remove them and tried putting them on again, this time the correct way.
However, it was more difficult than the first time. When I finished, she said, “Uncle George, these shoes are not mine”. I got angry, but since I studied Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) in the College of Education Awi, Akamkpa, I had to be patient and control my anger.
I struggled to remove the shoes. I then asked Veronica where her shoes were, this is what she said, “Uncle George, these shoes belong to my sister, my mum is the one who made me wear them in the morning. This time I boiled in anger, but I controlled it because she is a child that needs my help. So I helped her out of the shoes again.
When we were done, Veronica pulled another shockerπππππ yet again. She asked “what about the socks uncle George??π³π³π³π³π³. I wondered whether I should laugh ππ or cry ππ.
Politely and swiftly I asked, “where are your socks, Vero…” she innocently replied “I shoved them in my shoes, they are in front of my toes…
This time, I simply learned my lesson. Today I moved straight to my class to avoid repeating yesterday’s experience, and I also put a final full stop to βAMEBOβ.
