Priscilla Ojong, a 300 level Mass Communication student of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) who was feared missing, has shared a live video on Instagram as proof of life.
A viral call to action by social media users, her course mates and well wishers had claimed that she has been missing for three weeks after going to visit a male friend in Lagos.
The news of her disappearance began filtering in on Wednesday and by Friday morning, was viral.
The 22 year old Akamkpa born teenager will later share an old video on Instagram with bad grammar saying she was in Calabar on Friday afternoon.
“Am not missing am in calaba ,thanks for your love but your guys should always verify something before spreading it please am not lost am fine ….abeg I say calaba (sic),” she wrote.
This was followed up by a live video lasting less than two minutes where she insisted that she was not in Lagos and explained that her phone got bad.
“Thanks to you all love you,” she wrote.
