The end may not be in sight over the case of 22 year old Priscilla Ojong whom friends say she has been missing for over two weeks.
A 300 Level Mass Communication student of the University of Cross River State, Miss Ojong hails from Akamkpa and has had sparse communication in the past two weeks.
Alleged to have visited her male friend in Lagos, friends and family say they last spoke with her on April 30th, 2021.
But, following viral calls on social media especially with the case of Iniobong Umoren who was lured to her death on the pretext of giving her a job in Akwa Ibom State, two videos were published on her Instagram account where she said she was in Calabar.
Shortly after the videos were shared, her line was switched off and her colleagues say she’s still in captivity.
They claim that the second video, a livestream, was staged and she did it under duress and are calling on relevant authorities to do the needful.
The protest began from the Calabar campus of the varsity and students say it will continue to a Police station they declined to disclose.
