Hausa Community Support Ogoja Chairman’s Peace Deal

The Hausa community residing in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State have assured the people and chairman of Ogoja Local Government of their continued peaceful co-existence in the area.

The Spiritual Head of the Hausa community in Ogoja, Alhaji Adamu Yakubu gave the assurance when he led the Hausa community to the council headquarters.

Alhaji Adamu Yakubu said ogoja local government Area is known to be peaceful assuring that the Hausa community will work with the new chairman to sustain the peace in the council area.

The leader commended the Chairman for giving their son, Alhaji Abudulkarim Adamu a slot in her administration as the Chief Protocol Officer to the Chairman, and promised that they would do everything possible to remain committed to the administration.

He commended the governor for giving the chairman an opportunity to serve the people at the local government level, while assuring that the Hausa Community is ready to work with her.

The Chairman of Ogoja council Area, Mrs Rita Ayim assured the Hausa Community of her readiness to carry everybody along, irrespective of tribe, race and colour, adding that her Government was for everybody and solicited the support of the Hausa Community to see how collectively they can move Ogoja council forward.
