Youth Group Calls on Senate Leader To Seek Re-Election To Senate

A youth group, Cross River Youth Democratic Initiative has called on Senator Victor Ndoma Egba, the Senate Leader to seek re-election into the Senate to further serve the Central Senatorial District and Cross River State for another four years at the upper chamber.

In a statement made available to CrossRiverWatch in Calabar, and signed by the leaders of the group, Charles Bisong, the Director General, Okpekor Ndep, the Coordinator, and Victor Afebende, the Publicity Secretary, they said Senator Ndoma Egba has done very well in the Senate and should therefore seek another four years to enable him do more for the people.

“We strongly believe that your continued service at the Senate consolidate on the gains the fourth Republic Legislature has made and ultimately institutionalize the democratic culture in our dear country Nigeria.”

According to the youths, in the statement entitled Why We Need Senator Victor Ndoma Egba at the Senate in 2015, stated that the Senate Leader by every parameter of assessment has performed creditably and deserves to seek re-election for another term. “You have given the people of the Central Senatorial District, Cross River State and Nigeria at large qualitative representation, we are so proud to be associated with you”. The youths wrote.

Apart from offering him their electoral and moral backing, the youths also assured the Senate Leader of their support in logistics and finances to enhance the successful execution of the electoral project. “We the Cross River Youth Democratic Initiative are not unmindful of the financial implication associated with elections, permit us to use this opportunity to firmly assure you that CRYDI will provide logistics and financial resources that will be required for your election”.
