ACROJ, the brainchild of Cross River state online news personalities, Iwara Iwara, Agba Jalingo and Hope Obeten, seeks to institutionalize and moderate along professional lines, the practice of Cross River-centered online journalism as the practice attains a commanding presence in the scheme of things.

Additionally, the website will with time become the virtual community for the creation, exchange and dissemination of web based Cross River news content.

Undoubtedly the trio who through their online platforms; www.calitown.com, www.crossriverwatch.com and www.calabarblogspot.com, share the commanding lead in the gathering and dissemination of Cross River centered news and views, seem convinced that this platform will crank to life the importance of their respective online news activities as well as those of several upcoming platforms geared towards the promotion and development of Cross River State.

The formal launch of the association is billed for later this year.
