Sultry runway model, Petra George Sokari, 19 has emerged winner of the maiden edition of ‘Project Models Runway.’
The Rivers State born model and undergraduate of department of Public Administration, University of Calabar Petra coveted the crown after a heated modeling pageant contest organized by the House of Lavender modeling agency recently at the Mirage Hotel, Calabar.
Following in the line of victory as runner-up was Perpetua Ugbizi, 19; Best in Evening attire and brand ambassador of High Innovators Concept (HIC), publishers of Cross River’s most popular e-zine, www.celebmission.com, was Haniel Udoh, 18; while Peace Bassey, 19 was awarded Face of Lavender and Ambassador of HIC.
Also runway goddess, Oyi Charles, 20 was awarded Face of celebmission.com; while Helen Abobi, 18 landed a one year promotional deal with High Innovators Concept, HIC,
While expressing happiness on her victory after the event, winner of the maiden edition of the event, Patra Sukari told our reporter she would use her crown judiciously to climb enviable heights in her modeling career.
According to her “with this crown I think I’m going to go through places I couldn’t go.”
The event featured red carpet interviews, kiddies’ runway, musical performances by music crooner, Harmony among other musical arts; and the unveiling of Lavender Magazine.
Those who graced the occasion include Cross River’s Miss Photogenic, Felicia Boco; while comic ravers, MC Mbakara, D-Great Camp alongside Nene was master of ceremony.
The winner of the maiden edition of Project Models Runway carted home a cash prize of hundred and fifty thousand Naira and is to serve as House of Lavender brand ambassador for a period of one year plus a one year promotional deal with HIC.
