Former governor of Cross River State and handsome dude, Mr. Donald Duke, on Saturday made an impressionable presence at the Mangel Hotel Reception Venue of the wedding of his driver’s daughter to a lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, University of Calabar, Mr. Benedict Adem.
Shortly after the wedding mass held at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ikot Ansa, followed the reception, which drew many high class Cross Riverians to the venue, including the former governor.
Speaking at the reception, the Chairman of the occasion, Dr. P.C Inyangetor admonished the new couple to see marriage as a course they will never graduate from, and as such must learn to keep passing every examination together.
Also speaking, the Head of Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Prof. A. Alaribe congratulated the couple for starting a new phase of life and encouraged them to always avoid third party in their family decisions and issues.
Afterwards, the former governor of the state, Donald Duke stormed the venue, led by some intimidating entourage.
Immediately the former governor arrived, he started the carnival dance and asked all present to join him dance with the couple.
He waved to the cheering guests who showed palpable excitement for seeing their former governor once again.
