A Federal High Court in Abuja this morning dismissed the suit filed by Hon. Jones Tangban asking the party not to accept any other result from the November 1, 2014 Ward Congresses of the party in the state apart from the result submitted by the national officers who were sent to the state to conduct the congresses.
Presiding Judge, His Lordship Justice Ademola held that the issues before the court are internal party matters and the plaintiffs have not exhausted the internal procedures for addressing grievances provided by the Party constitution.
The court also held that the National Working Committee, NWC is the final decision making organ of the party in the pre-primaries cases.
The case was consequently struck out for want of jurisdiction.
