The 2013/2014 academic session students’ week of the Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH has kicked-off today Tuesday 11, November 2014 with an exhibition, rag day and visit to the Infant Jesus Orphanage home in Calabar as day one activity.

The President, Students Union Government, SUG CRUTECH, Comrade Idiege Steven Omang in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Ebri Arikpo and made available to CrossRiverWatch wished the students a successful Student’s week celebration devoid of crisis advising them to be of good behavior as they represent and reflect the image of the institution, promising that throughout the celebration, no form of rancor will be tolerated by the management.

He encourage those students who are yet to pay or balance their school fees to do so as the management is serious about implementing it’s ‘No Fees No Exams’ Policy and wished them success in the forthcoming second semester examinations.

Leading the delegation to the Infant Jesus orphanage home Bateba street Calabar, the central planning committee of the students’ week headed by Comrade Oyo-Ita Emmanuella, the SUG Vice President, Calabar campus where they presented gifts which include a bag of Rice, Cartons of Indomie, Toiletries and Laundry items.

The one week activities continue with an art exhibition, cultural day, carnival float, award night, picnic to Tinapa Resort and trip to the Obudu cattle ranch.
