Naval Chief Commissions Multipurpose Hall At Nigerian Navy School, Akpabuyo

‎The Nigerian Navy says it’s commitment to support education as part of President Jonathan Transformation Agenda will continue to be part of its cardinal objectives.

Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman stated this when he commissioned a multipurpose hall built for Navy Secondary School, Akpabuyo,Calabar.

Usman said the Nigerian Navy will continue to support education and provide for all its need, stressing that education and development are intertwined.

While commending Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Akpabuyo,Calabar for producing the overall best candidate in 2014 National Examination Council,(NECO) in Cross River,the Navy Boss said Navy Secondary Schools will continue to be a role model among schools in Nigeria‎.

“‎I commend the School Commandant ,Commander Regina Eleazu-Uriri for her giant stride in making Nigerian Navy Secondary School Calabar win an award of excellence which is what the Navy stand for, the environmental cleanliness, and most importantly,the recent award as the best secondary school in National Examination Council ,Cross River State ‎is highly commendable and needs support.” He said.

Navy secondary school,akpabuyo Calabar,was recently awarded the ‎best secondary school In Cross River state with best overall performance in NECO Examination in the State.

The performance has already provided the two best students with scholarships and medals from Learn Africa Development Foundation to further their Studies.
