The newly inaugurated Chairman of the Cross River state chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN, Pastor Lawrence Ekwok has raised alarm over the increasing number of fake pastors in the state, advising them to desist from such ungodly acts.
Pastor Ekwok, who frowned at this act in Calabar, recently during his inauguration as the new state PFN chairman, however explained to newsmen those he referred to as fake pastors, saying “fake pastors or preachers are those who go to herbalists to obtain spiritual powers to conjure miracles and give false prophesies to warm themselves into the hearts of their victims. We comfront them and they are not our members, a good number of them have confessed of their ill ways and I advice they desist from such ungodly acts.” he said.
The new PFN chairman, and pastor of the Christ for the World Mission, promised to give utmost priority to welfare of members, adding “I will not fail you or fail God, we would work to complete and dedicate the secretariat of the PFN next year, we would not fail the state.”
Earlier, chairman national inauguration committee, Archbishop Joseph Ojo enjoined the new state exco to be of good conduct.
