Obudu/Obanlikwu/Bekwara Federal Constituency Voters Choose Legor Idagbo

Unconfirmed results counted at the INEC office opposite the Chief J.D. Agba Memorial Stadium, Obudu indicate that the PDP candidate for the House of Representatives seat for the Obudu/Obanlikwu/Bekwarra Federal Constituency, Barrister Legor Idagbo has beaten his close rival, the LP candidate, Dr. Godwin Amanke to the Reps slot.

Counting began at the office which is the collation center for the Obudu/Obanlikwu/Bekwarra Federal Constituency, late last night and lasted through the night till this afternoon around 2pm.

From the results made available to CrossRiverWatch, in Bekwarra LGA, PDP pulled 18,398 votes to beat the LP which scored 2,588 while APC secured 973 votes.

In Obudu, PDP scored 22,128 votes, LP pulled 4,357 votes and APC got 784 votes accordingly.

Obanlikwu gave 7,343 votes to the PDP, 7,252 to the LP and 493 to the APC.

The sum total for the three LGAs shows that PDP pulled 47,869 votes, LP scored 14,191 while APC secured 2,250 votes.

In the Presidential elections, PDP scored 22,278 votes, followed by the APC with 1,022 votes.

Similarly, in the Senate elections in Obudu, PDP pulled a total of 22,347 votes, the LP garnered 4,752 votes while the APC scored 987 votes.
