The Speaker of the 8th Cross River State Assembly, CRSHA, Hon. John Gaul Lebo has said he is indebted to the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Liyel Imoke.

He made the remark while speaking after his inauguration today in the Assembly. He went on to state that as at the time he came into the politics of the State in 2010 he knew nobody in the system. His words: “Without Imoke I won’t be a member of the Assembly”.

The Speaker further maintained that leadership is a privilege and no generation will remain in power forever. According to him, under his leadership, ‘the principles of integrity and honesty will rule the House’.

He said that in his regime there will be a Press Center in the Assembly and Legislative Center that will avail the House of legislative resources.
