The acting Bursar of the Federal College of Education, FCE Obudu Mr. Fidelis Okorie has died after suffering from minor medical complications CrossRiverWatch can authoritatively report.
Fidelis CrossRiverWatch gathered, died last weekend while travelling from Obudu to a prayer house in Onitsha, Anambra State after the three week old stomach ache he was suffering from could not be managed at home by his family whom it is said tried to keep it a secret.
A close relative of the late Fidelis while speaking with CrossRiverWatch denied he died from typhoid fever or spiritual poison as been rumored in some quarters. Explaining, the relative said the late Fidelis came back home three weeks ago and complained of stomach ache. Furthermore, the relative added that the late Fidelis was administered pills at home and recovered just for a day.
A neighbor who spoke with CrossRiverWatch described the late Fidelis as a good man adding that “good people don’t last”.
As at press time, no official statement has been released by the institution’s management or family members regarding his burial arrangement.
