BusinessDay To Hold Market Access Program On Small And Medium Scale Enterprises In Calabar

The Small and Medium Scale Enterprise, SME sector in Cross River State is set to gain more exposure as BusinessDay and its partners will hold a program aimed at tutoring and mentoring operators to make use of available opportunities.

The annual program CrossRiverWatch learnt began in 2008 with Lagos serving as the only venue until 2014 when following the demand, branched out to Aba and Kano with ten cities scheduled for 2015 which will see it berth in Calabar on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Gomays plaza by 10 a.m.

The program tagged “SME Market Access 2015” is an initiative of Business Day, a business and financial daily which offers coverage of the economy, finance and business, in partnership with the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Development Agency.

The aim of the forum according to BusinessDay, is to train and mentor MSMEs on issues around business planning, financial management, People Management, as well as bringing many big businesses whose products and services will enhance the growth of the MSMEs together to showcase their products and services and also sell to participants at lower rates.
