Cross River Assembly Set To Enact Law For Development Of Industrial Parks

The Cross River State House of Assembly CRSHA, is set to enact a bill for a Law to provide for the sustainable development of industrial parks in the state, to include the Portside Infrastructure Regulatory Framework and other Commercial Trade Zones.

This disclosure was made by the Speaker of the Assembly, Hon. John Gaul Lebo on his facebook timeline yesterday.

According to the Speaker, “The Law will provide an infrastructure regime for all industrial and commercial development zones in the state.

“The Law will cater for sustainable development planning, environmental protection, safety, haulage and logistics planning.

“It designs and designates strategic locations in the state as industrial parks for oil and gas development, manufacturing and construction.”
