The maiden edition of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Calabar Study centre Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) week is set to kick off today CrossRiverWatch authoritatively reports.
Documents made available to CrossRiverWatch indicates the two day event is themed “Democratizing Education In Nigeria: Role Of NOUN In Redirecting Educational Studies” with legal practitioner and LAWSAN national legal adviser, Barrister Max Ogar scheduled to present a lecture on “Democratising Education In Nigeria: Role Of Law School In Redirecting Legal Studies”.
The event which is billed for 10 AM will hold at the University of Calabar Staff Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Conference Centre with former Attorney General and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Barrister Kanu Agabi said to be a special invitee.
According to the documents, awards and certificates will be presented as well as the presentation and launching of “The NOUN Jurist Magazine”.
