Senator Owan Enoh Holds One Day Career Coaching For Central Senatorial District Youths

Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Senator John Owan Enoh yesterday held a career coaching day for youths in his constituency.

The event which was billed to expose young people to tips on how to create and make use of available opportunities for self-empowerment, saw a huge turnout of young people from across the six local governments making up the senatorial district and Calabar the state capital.

Speaking in the event which held at Jorany Hotel Ikom, Muyiwa Afolabi, a Lagos based motivational speaker and career coach who was Guest Lecturer advised the teeming youths who turned up in large numbers to imbibe the spirit of self-empowerment as opportunities abound in Cross River State and beyond for all to excel.

The event also saw Senator John Owan Enoh receiving an award from Obbutiv- BENCRITA-G9Joint Peace Committee Of Benue, Cross River, Taraba States Of Federal Repubic Of Nigeria CUM G9- ECOWAS-Obbutiv Peacewatch Consultative Forum (Ambassador Of Peace), An N.G.O founded by Ambassador Tom Adie, who said they see him as voice for the entire Cross River State not just the Central.

Reacting to questions by some youths, he assured them that he is in politics for the people. He said he may not have all the monies to do all the people continue to ask for but he has got the heart and the mind to sacrifice in furtherance of his avowed commitment to serve the people.

The senator also used the occasion to inaugurate an educational assistance committee saddled with the responsibility of doing the thinking as regards his educational plans and scholarship for the people of the Central Senatorial District.
