The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River northern senatorial district has taken delivery of 44 motorcycles to aid the mobilization of members by the 44 ward chairmen in northern Cross River.
This comes barely a month after two stalwarts of the party donated a Secretariat and 10 motorcycles to the party structure in Obudu local government area.
Also, the senatorial candidate of the Labor Party in Cross River North in the last general election, Julius Okputu, Saturday, in Ogoja defected to the APC with over 3,000 supporters as stakeholders gathered to brainstorm on the way forward for the party.
Former Group General Manager of the NNPC, Prince Jedy Agba continued his donation spree with 44 motorcycles to the 44 ward chairman in Bekwarra, Obanliku, Ogoja and Yala local government areas less than a month after doing so for the 10 ward chairmen in Obudu and less than 2 weeks after donating an 18 seater bus to the chapter.
It will be recalled that Hon. Paul Adah, a member of the House of Representatives in the fifth and sixth Assembly had also donated a party Secretariat which Jedy Agba had promised to furnish.
