Information reaching CrossRiverWatch suggests that Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) designate, Justice Walter Onnoghen was left out by by Nigeria’s secret police, the State Security Service (SSS) in its raids for fear of a backlash.
CrossRiverWatch gathered that the secret service feared the backlash from a raid on Justice Onnoghen or an invitation would have been greeted with an ethnic backlash as he is set to become the second southerner to be appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court after … held the position almost 30 years ago.

The secret document according to SAHARAREPORTERS also stated, “extensively” the issues surrounding Justice Adeniyi Ademola who it is reported that: “In 2010, the Cross Rivers State command of the DSS determined that Justice Ademola had accepted a bribe from some members of the “Peace Corps of Nigeria” and oil bunkerers under prosecution.”
