Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello Monday in Lokoja directed that a Cross Riverian Osang Moses be immediately employed into the state’s civil service following his commitment to teaching students at Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) Adankolo for four years after he completed his National Youth Service Scheme in 2012.
Governor Bello gave the directive during an unscheduled inspection tour of GDSS where the administrators mentioned to him the case of Moses who taught Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as a Youth Corper and decided to stay back in Lokoja because he was passionate about teaching with the school retaining him as a part time staff paid from the Parents Teachers Association coffers in recognition of the enormous value he added to the school.
Bello according to a Facebook post by his media aide, Petra Onyegbule said Moses should have his employment regularised with the Teaching Service Commission and placed on appropriate grade level.
CrossRiverWatch is still making findings on details concerning Moses and how to reach him to get his reaction.
