Two safes belonging to Air Peace, an airline company were recently carted away by thieves who broke into their office at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport sources have confirmed to CrossRiverWatch.

Findings revealed that the thieves gained entrance through a window by removing the louvers from the axis of the building facing the runway.

However, the airport manager, Sunday Ayodele says he has no knowledge concerning the event.

“I have no knowledge of that, I am not aware of such incidence” Ayodele told CrossRiverWatch on telephone.

“I have not traveled for 2 weeks now and like I said, I am not aware of such. Maybe you should confirm from your source again or call Air Peace” he said.

Some staff of Air Peace who were contacted by our reporter were unwilling to comment on the matter and the police also said they have no report of such incidence.
