About 30 houses were yesterday (Wednesday) razed by an inferno in Uyangha community of Akamkpa local government area of southern Cross River State.
Uyangha is located less than 100 kilometers away from the southern port city of Calabar, the Cross River State capital and is noted for its rich deposits of minerals and arable land.
As at press time the cause of the inferno was not known with Police authorities saying they will get back to our correspondent with details.
