An Aide to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State, Paul Ojeka has said that his principal is not his God.

Ojeka, who is in the Governor’s social media team is tasked with projecting positively, the Governor’s image and eventually dominate the social media with his programs, policies and projects.

But, in an argument over the rumored defection of Governor Ayade from the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the state to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) which holds sway at the national government, Ojeka lost his cool and posted on Facebook his dislike for the APC.

He wrote: “If he goes to APC, I will bomb the APC with the might of words. Ayade is not my God.”

However, he later apologized and said his Facebook account has been hacked and steps have been taken to beef up cyber security in his gadgets.

“Eureka!!! My Timeline has been recovered after its few days loss.  Be rest assured that this social environment remains pure for only healthy social interactions.

“The sanctity of this base, as usual, doesn’t allow for expressions of hate against religious, political and class differences,” he wrote.

Ayade is currently in China on a 2 weeks long investment drive and has appointed around 3,000 aides in order to “put food on the table” in a bid to fulfill his campaign promise that no Cross Riverian will go to bed hungry while he is governor.

His appointments so far have surpassed the total appointed by former Governors Donald Duke and Liyel Imoke who held sway from May 1999 to May 2015; a period of 16 years.
