The selfish and sit tight attitude of Nigerian politicians is due to the ‘free money’ available to them and inability to own a skill and mature in the art of making money says a Cross River born legal practitioner Mr. Max Ogar.
He disclosed this in an exclusive interview recently where he posited that the poor financial remunerations for professionals and other blue collar jobs are contributing factors.
He argued that allowing people who are not content and do not have a means of livelihood to hold public office was more likely to result in such having a sit tight attitude as there is nothing to fall back on.
“When people learn how to make money gradually and they grow in the art of making money, they will not be crazy about public office. They will go there and come back and still fall back yo their profession,” Mr. Ogar said.
