SUBEB Calls For Application For Federal Teachers Scheme

The Cross River State Education Board is calling for qualified candidates who are interested in the 2017 Federal Teachers Scheme.

According to the board in a press release said “for candidates to be eligible for application, the following conditions are outlined: possession of Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) from institutions accredited by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) and awarded not earlier than 2013. Candidates must not be above 40 years of age.

“Candidates should specialize in any of the following basic education subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Science Vocational Education, Nigerian and Foreign Languages, Special Education and Early Childhood Care and Development Education. And candidates who are currently working and receiving salary or allowance from any organization (Public and Private) are not eligible to participate in the scheme without first formally disengaging from the organization.”

According to the release those interested should address their application letter to the Executive Chairman of SUBEB with photocopy of their credentials attached, closure date is 19th November, 2017.

The Board also stipulates that those to be engaged in the service will be deployed to various categories of basic education schools.
