Ahead of the December 9, 2017 national elective convention of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Media Mogul and Chairmanship aspirant, Raymond Dokpesi has promised to rally the desired support for Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River to actualize his dream of industrialization.

The former Chairman of Daar Communications which operates Africa Independent Television among others disclosed this when he visited Mr. Ayade in his office in Calabar, Monday alongside his campaign team.

“Only a man who understands the vision and dream of the state will contribute to its developmental strides as well as support its growth,” said Dokpesi who solicited their votes and commended Ayade’s leadership strides.

“I commend you for your impactful style of governance which has transformed the socioeconomic landscape of the state in such a short stay in power,” he said.

He called in Mr. Ayade to remain resolute and steadfast in his vision to liberate the state through his projects.

Mr. Ayade in his remarks hailed Dokpesi as a man of courage and described him as “committed member of the PDP.”

He expressed optimism that Dokpesi will succeed due to his resourcefulness and called on the party faithful to use the convention as a platform to unite the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The Governor lauded Dokpesi for his courage in establishing Daar Communication which he noted has contributed significantly in showcasing the nation positively to the outside world to salvage its battered image.
