The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Great Gospel Crusade, Calabar 2018 has promised that the crusade will bring peace to Calabar South.
Addressing newsmen in Calabar, the LOC Chairman Dr. Lawrence Ekwok stated that “because Cross River State is perculiar in the country, it’s been first in many things but faced with many challenges is the reason for this crusade where God will work.”
Fielding questions from journalists Dr. Ekwok who is the State Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) revealed that “this is the first official assignment for Evangelist Daniel Kolenda since he took over the mantle from Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.
“This will make it 6 times the crusade will be held in Nigeria and the 3rd time in Cross River, the crusade is never planned below six months period but this was planned in less than 3 months and it’s holding, we are very lucky.” He said.
Further more, he revealed that “in the course of reaching out to people to attend the crusade already two bad boys have surrendered their lives to Christ. It’s for security reasons we are holding it in Calabar South, don’t forget this will also boost the State economy.”
The crusade which will be holding from Thursday 15th – Sunday 18th February, 3pm daily is organized by Christ For All Nations.
