A push for the technological advancement of women is vital to achieving the 2018 theme of the International Women’s Day which is ‘Press For Progress’ says the General Manager of the Cross River State Investment Promotion Bureau, Barrister Tutu Ekeng.
Mrs. Ekeng argued that if women are equipped with the requisite technological skills, not only will they be financially independent, it will impact positively on women generally.
She made this known Sunday in Calabar while speaking as a guest on topical issues radio program; ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’ which airs live every Sunday on Hit 95.9FM.
Ekeng also posited that she does not believe in women empowerment as been bandied about and sued for more women participation in governance.
