The Cross River State Commissioner for Health; Dr. Inyang Asibong has expressed delight over her emergence as CrossRiverWatch Man of the Year, 2017.
The Commissioner disclosed this in an interview with CrossRiverWatch, where she said her emergence as CrossRiverWatch Man of the year is a recognition of hard work.
“I feel elated, I feel excited, I’m very happy that the little am doing in contributing to the society is been noticed by so many people. My emergence as CrossRiverWatch man of the year is a recognition of hard work.”
Dr. Asibong went on to say that she feels overjoyed and humbled to be honoured; as the award is a motivation to actually do more. “The greatest motivation to do more is the recognition of an award.”
CrossRiverWatch Man of the Year is an initiative of CrossRiverWatch designed to celebrate public officials who are using their positions to contribute to the growth and development of the State.
On the presentation of Seventy Five Billion Naira (75BN) for the Ministry of Health, the Commissioner said the Ministries’ budget which is christened “Budget of Seazegistic Systematic Crystallization” is a total budget of the health sector in the State.
She said the budget covers the Cross River State Ministry of Health, Schools of Nursing and Midwifery, State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, State Healthcare Insurance Scheme, all the General hospitals in the State, the College of Health Technology, Dr. Asibong said.
