Residents of Calabar, the Cross River State capital and its environs are crying out over the poor services rendered by the state’s public utility on water, Cross River State Water Board Limited.
The residents who spoke to CrossRiverWatch TV say relying on water board was a waste of time.
However, some argued that the availability of water was premised on the willingness of the citizenry to pay their utility bills and tax.
The world water day is celebrated annually on March 22. The 2018 theme is ‘Nature For Water’.
