The Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ivara Esu has commended the management and staff of CrossRiverWatch for the consistency in telling the Cross River narrative which has placed the state on the world map.
Esu gave the commendation while addressing journalists Thursday in Calabar, the Cross River capital shortly after he commissioned the secretariat of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists where he noted that Cross Riverians across the globe subscribe to CrossRiverWatch for their local news.
“CrossRiverWatch has gone international. Cross Riverians in diaspora often read up news concerning the state on CrossRiverWatch news portal”, he said.
He posited that though the reports may not always be pungent, CrossRiverWatch has built a niche for itself home and abroad; and as such, Cross Riverians are always looking forward to be informed about happenings and occurrences in the state.
