Paul Adah, APC Guber Aspirant Berates Ayade Over Communal Crisis, Calls For LG Election (AUDIO)

By Efa Sunday

A Former Commissioner representing Cross River State on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Hon. Paul Adah, has said that a functional local government system witn elected representatives will curtail the continues communal crisis bedeviling the State.

Hon. Paul Adah made the assertion when he visited the secretariat of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists ACROJ, in Calabar.

Hon. Adah, who is a 2019 governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, accused Governor Ayade of greed.

“It is unfortunate that Ayade is doing what he is doing. It is part of the selfishness and greed that we are talking about. If not, the best thing you can do for yourself is to encourage Local Government system to be in place.

“It will reduce pressure. It will also reduce the flow of traffic from the local government to the State. The little things that the local government can offer will reduce a lot of pressure from the seat of government in Calabar.

“We have been calling on Ayade to conduct Local Government elections, we have even gone to court, but he’s pretending not to hear. I condemn the fact that in Cross River there is absence of Local Government. All these inter-communal boundary disputes can be arrested with the existence of local governments.”

He assured that if given the mandate to govern the State he will do better than the incumbent governor, Senator Ben Ayade.
