A Rice farmer in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, Mr. Moses Egbung has accused politicians in Cross River State of hijacking the Federal Government funded CBN anchors borrowers program and turning it into a family affair.
Mr. Moses who was speaking as a guest on“The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo”, on Sunday on hit 95.9 FM, also disclosed that late arrival of fertilizers and seedlings have continued to have adverse effect on the farmers’ harvest.`
He also advised the state government to ensure due diligence is followed in programs like this because the multiplier effect on the lives of the farmers and the entire populace cannot be underestimated.
