The founder of iKapture Networks, a skill acquisition training organization, Miss Grace Ihejiamazu has opined that creating inclusive education programs will go a long way to empower vulnerable youths in the rural parts of Cross River State.
She maintained that empowering vulnerable youths in the rural areas will prevent them from falling prey to political elites with the intention of using them as pawns.
Miss Ihejiamaku stated this while speaking as a guest on “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo” which airs on Hit95.9 FM Calabar every Sunday, where she hinged on the need to design training programs to help youths use their skills and turn them into something profitable.
According to her, “If our own youths are empowered, they won’t be gullible as most are today. Government needs to be interested in investing in youths enterprise” adding that the job of enterprise development is not just for Government but also the youths have key roles to play and need to be willing and not rely on spoon feeding.
