Cross River PDP Chapter Chairmen Urged To Back Saraki To Become The Party’s Presidential Flag Bearer

By David Nsa

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chapter Chairmen in Cross River State have been urged to throw their weight behind Senator Bukola Saraki’s Presidential ambition for a better chance of credible leadership.

The call was made by Saraki’s Zonal (South) Chairman Barrister Efiok Cobham and the Cross River State Coordinator, Hon. Peter Odey, member representing Ogoja in the State House of Assembly during a closed door meeting.

Barrister Cobham, who described the aspirant as “a visionary leader, a team player, and someone with good leadership qualities” averred that “such a person is whom Nigeria needs to restore her back to being the giant of Africa.

“Nigeria has never had it right, we’ve had it almost  right in this country except leadership, the problem of this country is leadership, we don’t have Leaders, once we get the right set of leaders we are set to go” Barrister Cobham, former Deputy Governor of Cross River State said.

In the same vein the Saraki Presidential Campaign, Cross River State Coordinator Hon. Peter Odey described Senator Bukola Saraki as “a stable man, and the right man for the job. We choose only delegates for a reason.”

Hon. Odey also said that, “I have never supported failure, Saraki will be President. Let’s support this fighter to grow Nigeria. I don’t care about geography.”

Also present in the closed door meeting was the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. John Gaul Lebo and several other Assembly members.
