CRWatch Resources Partners Arthur Jarvis University, Brings BEEC Examination Centre To Calabar

CRWatch Resources has completed partnership plans with Cross River’s premier indigenous private university, Arthur Jarvis to open a study and examination centre for Business Education Examination Council (BEEC) in State.

According to the Program Coordinator in Cross River State, Mr. Agba Jalingo in the release made available to our newsroom BEEC was established in 1983 as a leading examination council to conduct highly rated professional exams in specialized areas of management and business offering seven (7) career opportunities in; “Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Business Management, Administrative Management, Accountancy and Personnel Management”.

The examination is structured to feature three categories of “Foundation, Professional Certificate and Diploma stages”. The Foundation stage qualification is equivalent to British Business Examinations Council (BEC) or ScotBEC National Award. “Entry qualification for the foundation stage is a minimum of five (5) GCE/SSCE credit passes including English Language and Mathematics plus relevant work experience, or five (5) GCE/SSCE credit passes of which two must be at Advanced level”.

Similarly, the Professional Certificate Stage is open to candidates who have completed the Foundation stage or holders of OND, BEC or ScotBEC National Award in Business Studies with equivalent qualifications.

Also, the final stage of Diploma consists of five (5) examination papers, which include case study. To register, an applicant must have completed professional certificate examinations or be granted full exemption, and it is equivalent to a post HND or post graduate standard.

However, “Examinations period are held July and December each year in all the approved centres world-wide. Registration for the July 2019 examination closes on May 30th, while December examination closes on October 30th.

“All candidates must first register as students of the Council before applying for the examinations. Our study centre in Calabar is authorized to cover Cross River, Akwa Ibom and its environs”.
