#CrossRiverDecides: APC, PDP Supporters Clash In Ugep, APC Supporter Beaten, PDP Pays For Vote (PICTURES)

As voting continues across Cross River State, our correspondent reports that in polling unit 007 – Apostolic Primary school Ijiman, Ugep Yakurr local government area, many electorates are waiting to be paid before they vote.

An aide to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Guber candidate and incumbent, Senator Ben Ayade, Mrs. Nneoyi Idagha (in red pictured below) was seen paying electorates to vote PDP in this polling unit shortly before being attacked by some All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters who seized the bag of money from her and they ran away.

One APC electorate (name not gotten but he is a graduate of Cross RIver State College of Education Awi, Akamkpa local government area) who came to exercise his franchise was apprehended and beaten by the PDP boys led by Mrs. Nneoyi because they alleged that he was among them.

He was later handed over to policemen because they claimed he is a thief. Some APC supporters, family members have threatened to fire and brimstone if he is not released.

As at the time of filing this report, he was detained at the Ugep Area Command of the Nigerian Police Force. Below are pictures of the scenario.
