The All Progressives Congress (APC) Cross River State has consoled the family of late Hon. Paul Adah for their irreplaceable loss.
According to a statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Bassey Ita and made available to our newsroom reads:
“The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress has expressed sadness over the demise of one of it’s chieftains, Hon. Paul Adah who passed on early this month.
“Hon. Adah a former member of the House of Representatives was from Obudu local government area of Cross River State.
“A condolence signed by the State Acting Chairman of the party, Sir John Ochala and directed to the deceased wife, Mrs. Miriam Adah, described the late political icon as a quintessential and formidable factor in the political landscape of the state in particular and the country at large.
“The entire APC Cross River State and indeed the entire population of well meaning Cross Riverians have been thrown into mourning following the untimely demise of one of our finest party leaders,Rt. Hon. Paul Andeshi Adah”. The statement ends.
The party prayed God to grant the deceased family the grace and fortitude to overcome this trying times occasioned by their bereavement.
Hon. Adah’s funeral rites had commenced on Monday with opening of mourning house and condolence register at his residence,Eyo Nyong Close, along Asari Esoh, Calabar.
His remains will be interred on Saturday after a Funeral Mass at the Saint Paul Catholic Parish, in Betukwell, Obudu at noon.
