The management of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) has postponed the first semester’s examinations that was scheduled to hold on June 3rd, 2019 to two weeks as well as resumption of second semester.
This was contained in a circular released Thursday which the varsity authority said it is to enable students who have not paid their fees go on break and source for it.
The institution however urge year 2 – 5 students to resume on Thursday, June 26th for their examinations as “No Fees No Exams” policy will be enforced.
The students had on Monday took out to protest against the Management’s decision which some said the policy is too prompt and no one would want to have extra year in the school if not allowed to write first semester examinations.
The protest which lasted for more than three hours, saw the protesting students flogged other students ready for exams and exam question and answer sheets seized, torn before matching to the AG VC’s office.
