Family Unveils Kokomons Beauty Products In Honour Of Late Mother

The children of a Qua Matriarch, Ntunkae Margaret Asim Umo at the weekend unveiled a range of beauty products in honour of their late mother who was a consummate beautician.

Unveiling the products, Princess Ayi Umo who is the Executive Director Kokomons, the name of the products range said the gesture is to immortalise their mother who passed on six months ago.

Princess Ayi maintained that “Our mother was a woman of exceptional entrepreneurial skills which she inculcated in us her children and also passed on to others, so we want her memories to remain fresh”.

She said the beauty products are of a wide range which include antiseptic soap, hair and skin creams, liquid black wash which are all made from natural products to enhance the outlook of users.

The fragrances had signature names which include, koko2plus named after the father, Cyril Umoh. Kokomon named after the mum, Ntukhae Margatet Umo, voltage after Imabong Akpabio and bene intense after Beni Benibo.

She said, “These variety of products are my mother’s legacy and we feel for the good of society, we should enhance their status and keep them going for many to use”.

The event which was Chaired by the member representing Eket at the House of Representatives Hon. Patrick Ifon, who said Mrs. Umo was a great woman and the products she introduced into beauty management are of value and should be enhanced for more to use.

He urged the public to support the family by patronizing the products.

The family expressed gratitude to those who stood by them during the trying time of their mother’s demise and assured that her legacy will not die.
