News reports in 2019 quoted the CG of Prisons, Jafaru, while defending the budget of his department before the NASS as saying that the federal government spends N17 billion annually on feeding 73,786 convicts and awaiting trial inmates in prisons nationwide.
Now I’m wondering if this is what N17 billion can buy?
