JUST IN: Egbede Jarigbe Released, Four Days After Abduction

Egbede Jarigbe, a sibling of the member representing Ogoja/Yala federal constituency in the national assembly, Agom Jarigbe has been released.

Egbede was abducted at about 11:00PM on Saturday along Ekong-Etta street in Calabar when he left a party he was attending with the Special Adviser on Security, North, Leo Inyambe to get drugs at a pharmaceutical store nearby for his girlfriend.

And, family sources say he has been released.

As at press time, it remained unclear whether a ransom was paid.
