Mrs Nkoyo Udosen who was kidnapped earlier this week in Calabar was released on Friday night after payment of N250,000 ransom.
CrossRiverWatch gathered that she was released at Marina Resort while the ransom was collected around Atu street.
The distance between where she was dropped off and the ransom collected is less than four kilometers.
Mrs Nkoyo was kidnapped on the same day four Chinese nationals were also kidnapped about 60 kilometers north of Calabar South in Oban, Akamkpa local government area.
Her husband was kidnapped in 2018 and killed after the kidnappers collected ransom.
