An unidentified lady slumped Monday in Calabar while protesting against the delisting of her name and about 3,000 others from the payroll of the Cross River State government.
The lady is said to have grown exhausted due to hunger.
She was later revived and left for her house.

The Niger Delta Activists Forum had last week issued a seven day ultimatum to the State seeking the reversal of the delisting of the names.
Colleagues said she was a staff in the ministry of health before mid 2019 when Governor Ben Ayade directed the delisting of her name alongside over 3,000 others claiming that most of those employed between 2014 till then did not follow due process.
This was despite claims from those employed that due process was followed with most having their employment and confirmation letters.
The Special Adviser to Mr. Ayade on Labor matters had earlier said the restrictions imposed on gatherings due to COVID-19 was the reason why the State has not called those affected to be verified and re-enlisted.
The Labour unions in the State are yet to comment on the issue.
